Chiltepin peppers are local chili peppers to the Sonoran Desert. They are known as the 'mother of all peppers'. This chili's flavor profile is earthy and smokey with a sharp heat. They are round red peppers that are shaped like a small berry. These peppers are local too, and grown in Northern Sonora and the American Southwest.
